Going to start working on a c ++ RPG game as a first project. Hopefully It won't be just a generic game but you never know.

Decided to take a break on this for a while but now I'm starting it back up as a dev blog.

You see, I've been keeping track of one of my favorite games, Terraria, as it works on becoming a better game. This has inspired me to learn how to code and to make my own game. I'm just a beginner but for now I would like to get together a small team of maybe 2-3 other people like me to help build games and someday make something great thats worthy of sales on steam. If you would be interested, let me know.

Sorry for the long delay in posts,

People are alot like great apes.

We assert our dominance, compete for mates, and do everything an ape does. Just more efficiently.

Try watching brain games, this show will teach you anything you wanna know about the human mind

Shout out to my friend Alyssa for her amazing drawing. All done in pencil... Pretty impressive.

Very talented girl with a bright future ahead of her!

Most of the time we don't notice how weird our language tends to be.

Lets say a store just got robbed, the store owner is chasing the burglar and yelling "Call the cops!"

Why do we call them cops? Well, you see, back in the 1700's american police wore badges made of copper. Hence the nickname coppers came around. Later, the name was shortened into "Cop"

Or how about idioms? What does it mean to shoot fish in a barrel? Why would one go through the trouble of putting the fish into the barrel and then shoot it? Why not just keep the fish outside the barrel and cook it? Why take the extra 2 steps? The irony is, the idiom means to do something with ease. Litterally, your taking two additional, unnecessary steps to complete a task you could have done as soon as you had the fish, making things more complicated, not easy. Not to mention that the bullet probably wouldn't reach the fish due to the water...

Its just one big mess.
Look at our dog.

Look at this.

He's incredibly lazy.

What many people don't know is how powerful the mind really is.

In real life, when a person believes something makes them feel better, they will get better. This is called mind over matter, or the sugar pill effect. Its called the sugar pill effect because it was discovered during an experiment where two groups of people were selected each containing the same illness.

One group was given some real medicine, the other were given fake pills made of sugar. Both groups became well again.

Now it also says in the bible that with faith, anything can be done.

What if there is truth to this? What if a person believed something so much, they made it real. They made what they wanted to do happen? People can also learn to control their own dreams and make what they want happen through careful practice. Sort of like a second mind during the night.

Hows that for food for thought?

People believe themselves to be very complex, understanding, and basically their own image.

This is almost never true.

We base ourselves off of thing we see in society and try to become more like things that appeal to us. Wether we try to or not, we are conforming to the rest of society. People will do their best to stay in their zone of comfort at work, school, public, and in other peoples opinions.

Don't believe me? Remember the last time a friend jokingly took an embarrassing picture and said they'd put it on Facebook or Instagram after letting you see it? What was your first reaction? Probably telling them to delete it.

We as humans give ourselves our own image that only ourselves see us as, not other people. Like when you have a bad hair day, to most people who don't know you, they don't even care. People will pay little attention to you unless prompted to do so.
It seems like the stuff that comes on TV these days is becoming less and less intelligent. As I sit here and look at the television which used to show such great shows, I come to a blank as I flip through the channels, each more stupid than the last. Where has common sense gone? You wouldn't believe some of the questions I hear on a regular basis, most of which can be solved with a little bit of thinking.

People are lazy and becoming more stupid.

Sometimes I sit and hope that this generation will be just a fluke and that the next generation won't waste the knowledge put in front of them in schools, online, and in experience.

Anyhow, something is becoming more and more clear to me. Minimum wage jobs will be overfilled with a high demand at this generation. The higher end computer tech jobs will still not have enough people to fill them.

Its quite sad.

Most of these computer skills can be learned within a few days or weeks if you spend 30 mins a day dedicated to what your trying to learn. Yet, people are still paying other people for the same easy skills. "My computer is broken" In all honesty, its probably just a virus. But the tech guy gets paid 60$ to run a scan and tell you that your computer is fixed.
The change in people's lives can sometimes effect another's.

You know how in movies where the main character will get there fortune told that one day they will die by a specific cause? Such as in this one story I had read, a man goes to a fortune teller to have his fortune told. He is told that his cause of death will be his favorite horse. So naturally the man sends the horse to another farm so it wont kill him. Weeks later, the horse become sick at the farm and dies. Seeing as he still loves the horse, he stops by and asks to see whats left of the horse. At this point, there is almost nothing left except some bones and such, but also a large skull. As he leans down to touch the skull, a rattlesnake which had made his home inside the skull bites him and he dies soon after.

Either way, the cause of the death was still because of his horse.

Now here's the twist! What if the man never went to see the teller? He wouldn't have sent his horse away, it probably wouldn't have gotten sick, died, and the rattlesnake wouldn't of bit him. He probably would have gone on with his life, happy as can be. But instead, the fortune made him paranoid and caused a chain reaction which caused him to die.

The point here is, knowing what could happen in the future could change what the future is. Change cannot always be controlled to how you want it to be.

A good way to make money I found is on computers. Wether it be ebay, programming, selling the part, or building them, you can always find a way to make easily 50$ an hour.

If you know anything about programming flash animation and such, you can make a flash game and submit it to kongregate.com. They hand out prizes weekly and monthly with weekly up to 150$ and monthly about 1500$. People will also pay you to design web pages and other neat things for them which can fetch about 500$ per task. Programming is hard to learn when your first getting into it but if your good at math i recommend doing this.

If you know about computer software and hardware, people will pay you for your knowledge on fixing computers. As long as you know the right commands you can fix any software problem with minimum effort on your part. Heck, most of the time is spent waiting for the computer to finish the task FOR YOU. This is a hobby you should defiantly be getting into if you want to make some cash from time to time.

Another good computer based business to get into is buying part and assembling them into working computers to sell. The parts can cost up to 200 but you can make about 800 on the computer once it is complete.
Why is it that when we're listening to music it sounds much quieter over the roar of an active engine?

I believe the reason for this is the same way forces working against each other subtract. The decibels of an engine will cancel out part of the music's decibels that are coming from your speakers. The closer the sound is, the more decibels it can carry to your ear. If these decibels are being combated by another sound source, the original sound will be much quieter due to the cancellation of decibels.

What is fear?

I believe fear is merely a lack of control in ones life. Just a simple concept of not being able to put a degree of control in ones life can make a person fear the future and what it holds. If a person knew what was going to happen and control it there would be no fear.

Fear is a lack of control.

But what is it people fear the most in life?

I would say what people fear the most is change. Nobody can control change, they must let it happen at its own pace. Perhaps this is why the world is so chaotic.

What is it every gamer wants in a game? Is it good graphics? A good storyline? Perhaps a great online feature?

Why not have all 3 and more with this brand new edition to my game line-up?

Welcome to Dead Island: Riptide

If you played the original, then you already know the basics of this game except for a few new additions such as new zombies, more weapons, and different maps. Heck, It even comes with boats!

There are several new zombie additions to this game such as the Wrestler, who will slam you to the ground with his bloated mutated arm, the Drowner, who lurks in waters waiting for human prey, Or the Grenadier, who seems to have saved enough intelligence from his past human life in order to use grenades.

This game is a must for any FPS, Zombie, or RPG fan.

Wrestler in action

The new boat feature in Dead Island: Riptide

Hello again,

Today I would like to recommend a must have to all zombie loving fans. This game for the PC is called War Z. This is a free roaming PvP game with tons of zombies to fight at the same time.

This game is basically you and your crew against tons of undead freaks and other peoples crews at the same time. Its everything you think the zombie Apocalypse would be. Tons of zombies, bandits, and survivors all fighting to stay alive.

You have to destroy the brain. If you hit the body it will only slow their sprint down for a second or so before the whole group charges you at the sounds of the gunshot. Zombies in this game can be avoided by staying quiet and not going near them. Their eyesight is bad but they are drawn to sound. They can also smell but this can be avoided with a little handcrafting skills.

This game is still in Alpha but can be found on steam like most of my recommended games.

Sorry for short post, Not too much to say about this game yet.
Fighting the Hordes

Quick look at inventory

Hello, Welcome to my new blog.

Basically what I will be doing almost daily is recommending a new game that really stands out to me. I will try each game if I can. Some of these games are not well known and could use the support of getting started and such.

To start, The game I recommend today is an awesome RPG, FPS, and sandbox hybrid. Imagine Halo and Minecraft combined. This game is called Starforge.

Not too much is known about this game yet but it looks pretty sweet. Decent graphics, Great pyshic engine, Totally changeable environment with tons of hostile alien mobs that will come and attack your fortress from time to time.

In this game, unlike Minecraft, there is no limitations on how high you can build, how far you can go, or what you can do. It just simply never ends. Also, buildings must be supported by support beams and such or the building may collapse with you in it. I personally like this much better than Minecraft.
The different colors simulate the amount of stress on that one part of your structure. If the stress is not distributed very well, the structure may very well collapse.

A tower leading to space

Another noteable feature in this game is the fact that they are going to add the ability to build your own gun from scratch from materials that you find within the planet your on. You can have veichles and such, but I'm not really sure on how that system works.

This game is worth checking out.

Rate (based on information I have since it isn't out yet, will be soon tho) : 8
Graphics: 9
Creativity: 7
Freedom: 10
PvP: Yes
Crafting: Yes
Worth checking out? Definitely
For more information about this game, check out the steam store page located at this link
If you have any suggestions on what you think i can do to improve my blogs, such as more rates, details, etc. Just let me know. Over and out.
