Decided to take a break on this for a while but now I'm starting it back up as a dev blog.
You see, I've been keeping track of one of my favorite games, Terraria, as it works on becoming a better game. This has inspired me to learn how to code and to make my own game. I'm just a beginner but for now I would like to get together a small team of maybe 2-3 other people like me to help build games and someday make something great thats worthy of sales on steam. If you would be interested, let me know.
Sorry for the long delay in posts,
Aaron

Most of the time we don't notice how weird our language tends to be.
Lets say a store just got robbed, the store owner is chasing the burglar and yelling "Call the cops!"
Why do we call them cops? Well, you see, back in the 1700's american police wore badges made of copper. Hence the nickname coppers came around. Later, the name was shortened into "Cop"
Or how about idioms? What does it mean to shoot fish in a barrel? Why would one go through the trouble of putting the fish into the barrel and then shoot it? Why not just keep the fish outside the barrel and cook it? Why take the extra 2 steps? The irony is, the idiom means to do something with ease. Litterally, your taking two additional, unnecessary steps to complete a task you could have done as soon as you had the fish, making things more complicated, not easy. Not to mention that the bullet probably wouldn't reach the fish due to the water...
Its just one big mess.

What many people don't know is how powerful the mind really is.
In real life, when a person believes something makes them feel better, they will get better. This is called mind over matter, or the sugar pill effect. Its called the sugar pill effect because it was discovered during an experiment where two groups of people were selected each containing the same illness.
One group was given some real medicine, the other were given fake pills made of sugar. Both groups became well again.
Now it also says in the bible that with faith, anything can be done.
What if there is truth to this? What if a person believed something so much, they made it real. They made what they wanted to do happen? People can also learn to control their own dreams and make what they want happen through careful practice. Sort of like a second mind during the night.
Hows that for food for thought?
